We want to take this opportunity to remind you of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation which is recognized annually on September 30.
Although this day is an optional statutory holiday in Alberta, we believe that recognizing this critical holiday is essential in showing our commitment to reconciliation and understanding the history and experiences of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
As such, Bethany recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a statutory holiday for all employees. This year, because September 30 falls on a Saturday, we will observe this important day on October 2, 2023.
